Grants AssociateThe YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas seeks a full-time Grants Associate to initiate grant research tactics, prepare grant proposals, complete grant reports, and maintain the grant management database. A successful candidate should have grant writing experience with the ability to prepare and submit clear and concise information, understand database standards, be detailed orientated and execute fundraising strategies. Program SupportYW is hiring two positions to assist with data management, Women's Center logistics and member services.  Microenterprise Business Trainer- Through the Women’s Enterprise Center (WEC), YW provides a comprehensive microenterprise development program to female entrepreneurs. The Business Trainer is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the business training components.  This position works closely with entrepreneurs, community experts, volunteers and YW staff. The WEC complements YW’s existing economic empowerment services and is integrated into service delivery; therefore, the Business Trainer must be able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Volunteer Coordinator- The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for organizing and directing efforts to involve volunteers in YWCA programs, including development of a volunteer plan that includes measurable outcomes, volunteer job descriptions and opportunities, volunteer training and recognition programs.  This key individual will maintain constant communication between staff and volunteers to ensure the best possible match between organizational needs and volunteer capabilities. Volunteers and Internships- In addition to paid staff, YW relies heavily on the support of its volunteers. From time-to-time, YW also offers unpaid internship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students.
