Erle Nye, Endowment Chair

Erle Nye has served as Chairman Emeritus of TXU Corp. since May 2005. Mr. Nye served as Chairman of the Board from 2004 to 2005, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive from 1997 to 2004, President and Chief Executive from 1995 to 1997, and President from 1987 to 1995. He has served on the Board of Directors of TXU Corp. since 1987. He also serves on the boards of many professional, civic and charitable organizations
 

Caren Prothro, Gala Honorary Chair

Caren Prothro is a resident of Dallas, Texas. She formerly served as president of the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas Board of Directors and currently serves on the YWCA Advisory Board. Ms. Prothro currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation, and Southern Methodist University and is also active as Chair of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Development Committee. She has been the recipient of many awards, including the 2006 Linz Award for community service, Southwestern Medical Foundation Charles Cameron Sprague Community Service Award, The Annette G. Strauss Humanitarian Award, the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award, and the Juvenile Justice Community Advocacy Award. Ms. Prothro received a bachelor's degree from Mills College.

 

Anne Reeder, Gala Chair

Anne Reeder has served on the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas Board of Directors since 2006. She is a member of the executive committee of the board, serving as chair of the resource development committee.
