The YWCA of
Metropolitan Dallas maintains a strong commitment to protecting the
privacy of our web site visitors.
We do not
require you to divulge any personal information or your identity when
browsing our Web site. We do, however, record certain generic usage
data, such as hits and visits to our Web site, for tracking and analysis
purposes. This information is non-identifying and used for aggregate

The YWCA’s
online donation services are provided through eTapestry.com. Donating
online through our eTapestry.com form does employ “cookies.” The data
you submit online is securely kept in a safe hosting environment.
eTapestry only has access to our donor’s data so that they may perform
necessary system maintenance and backups. Any access to donor’s data for
support reasons is only done with the YWCA’s approval. eTapestry does
not sell, use, share, or report on any of the YWCA’s data or the data of
our donors. The data belongs to the YWCA, and eTapestry reserves no
rights to it. Your online donation is securely encrypted by eTapestry.

Your online
donation will be processed by TicketMaster and will appear on your
credit card as such. TicketMaster will have access to your personal
information supplied through the online donation form only as needed to
processes the credit card transaction and may not use such information
for any other purposes.
While every
effort is made by the YWCA and its partners to protect your credit card
information, there are risks associated with the transmission of
electronic information. The YWCA does not guarantee that your
information will always be secure from unauthorized access.
By
participating in certain applications available through the YWCA’s Web
site, such as the Great Women Make a Difference campaign, you
acknowledge the YWCA to publicly release or distribute certain
voluntarily supplied information. Information supplied for these purpose
(i.e. comments on honorariums and memorials, nominee profiles, etc.)
will be clearly notated.
Links to and
from the YWCA’s Web site do not represent the YWCA’s endorsement of
those third party sites. By visiting those sites, you are subject to
their individual privacy policies and data collection practices. The
YWCA is not responsible for their content or their use of your personal
