YW maintains a strong commitment to protecting the privacy of our web site visitors.

We do not require you to divulge any personal information or your identity when browsing our Web site. We do, however, record certain generic usage data, such as hits and visits to our Web site, for tracking and analysis purposes. This information is non-identifying and used for aggregate usage and volume statistical analysis. If you choose to subscribe to YW’s periodic news and updates, you will be asked to provide certain personal information, such as name, address, age, gender, e-mail address, phone number, etc. to build your profile with our site. This information is solely used for YW purposes and will not be sold, distributed or shared with entities not affiliated with or employed by YW without your expressed consent, except where it is required by law or necessary to protect the safety, property or legal rights of YW. You may select to opt out of YW communications at any time.

YW’s online donation services are provided through Sage Payment Solutions. Donating online through our Sage Payment Solutions form does employ “cookies.” The data you submit online is securely kept in a safe hosting environment. Sage Payment Solutions only has access to our donor’s data so that they may perform necessary system maintenance and backups. Any access to donor’s data for support reasons is only done with YW’s approval. Sage Payment Solutions does not sell, use, share, or report on any of YW’s data or the data of our donors. The data belongs to YW, and Sage Payment Solutions reserves no rights to it. Your online donation is securely encrypted by Sage Payment Solutions. This is secured by thawte SSL Certificates.

Your online donation will be processed by Sage Payment Solutions and will appear on your credit card as Young Women’s Christian Association. Sage Payment Solutions will have access to your personal information supplied through the online donation form only as needed to process the credit card transaction and may not use such information for any other purposes.

While every effort is made by YW and its partners to protect your credit card information, there are risks associated with the transmission of electronic information. YW does not guarantee that your information will always be secure from unauthorized access.

By participating in certain applications available through YW’s Web site, such as the Great Women Make a Difference campaign, you acknowledge YW to publicly release or distribute certain voluntarily supplied information. Information supplied for these purposes (i.e. comments on honorariums and memorials, nominee profiles, etc.) will be clearly notated.

Links to and from YW’s Web site do not represent the YW’s endorsement of those third party sites. By visiting those sites, you are subject to their individual privacy policies and data collection practices. YW is not responsible for their content or their use of your personal information.
