- $5,000 gives a young, at-risk, first-time mom and her baby the chance for a bright future through YW’s Nurse-Family Partnership program.
- $1,000 helps a family living on the edge of poverty learn what benefits are available to help them in the short term as they work toward long-term stability.
- $20/month ($240 annually) gives at least two uninsured women peace of mind, knowing that they don’t have to choose between paying their utilities or paying for their mammograms.
Volunteer
YW volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, groups,
organizations, and companies. YW volunteering is open to women and men
18 years of age and older; all YW volunteers must undergo criminal
background and reference checks and Volunteer Orientation prior to
placement.
YW will match your skills and interests to opportunities that are
meaningful and energizing for you. YW needs volunteers in a variety of
areas who can donate their time and expertise to empower women.
Bilingual volunteers are particularly needed.

As a YW Connector, you will serve in a vital role to build YW awareness in the community. Everyone has his or her own circle of relationships. We encourage you to bring YW into your circle by engaging in conversations about YW. Through these conversations, you can help us make new connections to change more women's lives.
